Our Baby Turns One

Our little cutie turned one year old!! I went to a fair amount of work for her party. I hope I'm not setting a precedent here ;) It just about maxed out my creativity!! And I know people say that a party for a one-year old is really just a party for the parents....and here's what I have to say about that:  I deserve a party for surviving my first year as a mommy!! It was pretty rough for the first few months, but thankfully things got easier with time and I'm actually a pretty happy, stable person these days. We sure LOVE our cute, little girl. And I feel like she had a pretty fun time at her party, too!!

This was how it looked in the end. Daddy pulled the chunk out of the cake. She didn't get into the cake all that much, however when we finally took her and gave her a quick bath she really did have quite a bit of cake on her!

She's learning to walk!

Hello out there! I'm just getting started on this little blog of ours. I thought I'd start with a fun video of our sweetie when she was just learning to walk. She is now quite an expert. Hope you enjoy!

I just wanted to share why we use orange-creamsicles for the url for our blog. When Nathan and I were dating, in the summer we'd often eat orange creamsicles together. Usually we'd share one, but we ate them often. They bring back good memories for us :)
